Fun Concerts for the Family!

First off, let’s talk about the amazing collaborations we’ve got lined up. This season features not one, but two brand new partnerships that are sure to dazzle families and create those special moments that turn into cherished memories.

Members of Mariachi Garibaldi

Are you ready for a season packed with music, dance, and cultural fiestas? Hold onto your hats because the 2024-25 Family Musical Mornings Series is here, and it’s going to be fun for all! Big thanks to Farmers & Merchants Bank for their sponsorship of this series and making these unforgettable Saturday morning concerts possible.

A Nutcracker Unlike Any Other
Get ready for a holiday spectacle! On December 7, we’re introducing an all-new production of The Nutcracker for Kids. This isn’t your typical Nutcracker: We’ve teamed up with the American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School at Segerstrom Center for the Arts to bring you a fresh and dynamic take on this beloved classic. Imagine the magic of Tchaikovsky’s score, combined with the vibrant energy of young, talented dancers performing onstage to the sounds of your favorite Pacific Symphony musicians. Artistic Director Susan Brooker and our musicians are buzzing with excitement and can’t wait to share this enchanting experience with you!

Fiesta Time with Mariachi Garibaldi
Mark your calendars for March 22, 2025, because you won’t want to miss ¡Fiesta Sinfónica con Mariachi Garibaldi!. It’s going to be a cultural explosion as the rich sounds of Mariachi Garibaldi merge with our symphonic melodies. Expect a vibrant showcase of Mexican heritage, complete with ballet folklórico. It’s more than just a concert; it’s a celebration of tradition, color, and the arts. Composer and director Jimmy “El Pollo” Cuellar promises it’ll be a fusion of heart and harmony that will leave you inspired.

More Musical Adventures Await!
But that’s not all—our season kicks off with Halloween Fandemonium! on October 19. It’s your chance to dive into a symphonic mix of spooky classics and fan favorites from Disney, Star Wars, and more. Come in your best cosplay and join Dr. Jake for a morning of thrilling music and fun!

Following the wintery dazzle of The Nutcracker, we’ll be bringing some of opera’s greatest to young audiences with Mozart and More! Opera for Kids on January 11, 2025. It’s a perfect opportunity to introduce the little ones to the power of operatic stories and melodies.
