Relive Musical Memories

This summer, Classical California KUSC has been re-broadcasting Pacific Symphony concerts from the 2022-23 Hal and Jeanette Segerstrom Family Foundation Classical Series on SoCal Sunday Night at 7 p.m. The season concludes with the final two concerts that were heard in June at Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. Each show is hosted by KUSC’s Rich Capparela, who also includes an artist interview at intermission of each broadcast. Tune in on Aug. 6 to hear Teddy Abrams conduct Grieg’s Piano Concerto with Louis Lortie as the soloist. On Aug. 13, you can hear the re-broadcast of the critically acclaimed world premiere of Sir James MacMillan’s work, Fiat Lux for soloists, chorus, and orchestra.

Pacific Symphony would like to extend its gratitude to Classical California KUSC, who sponsors the Hal and Jeanette Family Foundation Classical Series and to Rich Capparela, who does a stellar job hosting the re-broadcasts and interviewing the artists for intermission features.
